Savory Brioche Pockets

I should not have done this recipe...  not at this moment... not this past weekend.

With a sick husband.
With my parents out of town.
With a house full of 5 guests.

But it is done.

And it doubled as dinner (even if my kiddos didn't eat it).
And it utilized sage and chives from my garden.
And it reminded how much I love working with and eating brioche dough.

This post is a part of Tuesdays with Dorie/ Baking with Julia cooking group.  See our host, Carrie at Loaves and Stitches, for the full recipe.

And here is Rhiannon!

  1. These were a bit of a project - but they are so pretty and tasty, that it was worth it in the end.
Hope things are calmer for you today :-)

  2. Impressive that you made these with your household as it was!! And they turned out beautifully. How lucky for your house guests to have these lovely pockets for dinner.
    Great job!!!

  3. Nice looking pockets! I'm impressed you tackled this with guests in the house, let alone a sick husband. Good for you! I'm hoping to make these very soon.

  4. I'm so impressed that you got these done with so many things going on. They're very pretty and I'm sure your house guests were impressed, too.

  5. What a weekend! Hope your husband is better now. Your brioche pockets look great!

  6. They look beautiful! I hope your week has been nice and relaxing after a busy weekend.
